Our Philosophy

At AMF we are fully aware of our responsibility to the environment and society. We therefore always ensure that we adhere to environmental compatibility when manufacturing of our products. To be able to constantly improve the quality of our ceiling systems and to discover new products, we place a big emphasis on research and development. Our colleagues are working together in co-operation towards this goal. We are looking to develop our partnership with both national and international clients, always striving for customer satifaction. We pride ourselves on our personal relationship with customers and the advice we offer. We sell our products at competitive prices and under fair conditions.

Employees

Since 1985 the number of Employees at AMF has risen from 80 to 270. Of those, 65 are employed in and represent our international establishments. So that we can ensure a young qualified workforce, we regularly have trainees in the areas of business management and commercial sectors. Apart from that we regularly welcome students from Schools and Colleges to come and have a look around and gain insight into the company. We would like to offer all our employees the best chance of development in education and further education, as well as active participation in all the areas of the workforce is very important to us.

Production

AMF Mineral Ceiling panels are known for their outstanding physical properties. This is achieved with the individual production process and the special raw material make-up of the THERMATEX-Panels. Overall thousands of different products are manufactured on our production plant, varying in edge detail, sizes and face patterns. Quality is of course always our top priority. In order to attain the optimum standard, our production plant is being constantly tested and improved (according to DIN EN ISO 9001). In this way we can guarantee the continuous development of quality. AMF maintains environmentally friendly production. DIN EN ISO 14001 certification confirms this commitment and the need to create even higher levels of excellence. So that we are able to keep up with increasing enquiries and demands for our products, we are constantly investing in our manufacturing plant, so that it is always technologically up-to-date. In relation to this we have also now extended our site to 250.000 m² (70.000 m² of which are buildings).

Our Partners

Established in 1932, Gebr. Knauf Westdeutsche Gipswerke is not only one of the leading manufacturers of building materials in Europe but also a global operating group whose activities are not limited solely to the production of gypsum based building materials. Despite this expanded growth Knauf is still a family company which was founded by the brothers Karl and Dr. Alfons Knauf. Managing partners are cousins Baldwin and Nikolaus Knauf. Both are situated in Iphofen (located between Nuernberg and Wuerzburg), and also the headquarters of the Knauf Group. Other family members are involved as partners and they look after activities abroad.
